As lovely as this property is, it’s become somewhat of pain for Super Frankie Lampard.

The former Chelsea star bought the home in 2004 for £4m when he was with ex-fiancee Elen Rivas.

However, he put it on the market in 2012 after splitting with her.

We’re guessing Christine Lampard didn’t want to live there, but Frank just couldn’t shift it.

The £7m asking price might’ve been a bit steep, but he did manage to rent out the Tudor-style home for a whopping £9,000 a month.

Nestled in the Yaffingales in the Surrey countryside, the house is built on two acres, has six bedrooms and a three-car garage.

There’s also a sauna, tennis court, outdoor-heated swimming pool and a summer house.

Estimated property value: £6.5m

In 2014, JT  sold his pad in Oxshott, Surrey, to Omani royals for an incredible £16m – making a tidy £10million profit.

But what John bought next was equally as impressive, and literally next door to where he previously resided.

He splashed £4.35m on Colin Montgomerie’s former home after initially renting it.

The property has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, four receptions rooms and a two-bedroom staff annex.

However, while the former Chelsea defender and his missus Toni were on holiday the mansion was burgled.

Jewellery and handbags worth £400k were stolen, but later recovered when the thieves were caught.

Estimated property value: £7m

5. Cristiano Ronaldo

Like most of Madrid’s most famous residents, Cristiano lives in the La Finca area and counts Penelope Cruz as his neighbour.

The property is massive – at 8,600 square feet there’s more than enough room for Ronaldo and his family.

Built over just a single storey, it has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a mini-football pitch where he can teach Cristiano Jr a few tricks.

4. Kaka

The Brazilian great has just retired, but if he’s looking to put his feet up at his luxury pad in Madrid then he may have a fight on his hands.

Kaka bought this gem, which is situated near Ronaldo’s in the city’s exclusive La Finca area, for £6.4m.

Since moving to the MLS, Kaka has rented the house out to Gareth Bale for a cool £16k a month and it’s unlikely that the Welshman will hand the keys back willingly.

The brainchild of leading designer Joaquin Torres, this 1,6,000 square foot home is built on two-storeys.

It has a private indoor pool and a gym, so Gareth can keep fit during injury lay-offs.

Real Madrid team-mate Sergio Ramos is a neighbour.

Even their boss Zinedine Zidane lives nearby.

Estimated property value: £9m

3. Lionel Messi

He’s one of the greatest footballers to ever play the beautiful game, which means he needs a special home.

Messi has a £6.2m space-age property built by architect Luis Garrido last year, and it’s even been given the fancy name the One-Zero Eco House.

Specs for the house are hard to come by, but we know it’s built on a monster 13-square mile plot 22miles outside of Barcelona and divided into two halves like a football pitch.

One half of the property has an oversized swimming pool, while the other has a lawn with the football-shaped home on it.

If you look at the design for the entrance aerially, it appears in the shape of a number 1.

While the house itself is round, when viewed next to the entrance area from above it looks like the number 10, thus the name One-Zero Eco House.

Messi also has other houses in Spain and Argentina, but this, understandably,  is his pride and joy.

Estimated property value: £10m

2. Wayne Rooney

He’s currently building a £20m mega mansion, which will put him higher on the list when he moves in.

But for the time being Wazza and his missus Coleen will just have to slum it in this property.

They live in a £5m home in Prestbury, Cheshire, which they built completely from scratch.

When they bought the 20-acre plot, they demolished the five bedroom house that was there and started again.

In its place, and in a property they nicknamed Wayne’s World, they built a three-storey mansion which included a swimming pool, gym and jacuzzi.

Wayne even built a full-sized football pitch so he can play with his mates and a cinema where he can entertain his brood.

Estimated property value: £12m

1. David Beckham

Reportedly worth £339m, Becks can have any home he wants.

So, it’s no surprise that the former Man United star tops our list with his stunning London abode.

Bought for an incredible £31.5m in 2013, they added £8m worth of refurbishment on to the property value over the next 3 years.

It has eight bedrooms, two dressing rooms, a catwalk style runway fit for any fashionista, a playroom, gym, spa and a salon-style room
